CSS flex

CSS flex, is a short hand properties, it is used on flex items to specify whether its size can be increased or decreased.

Syntax

flex: flex-grow flex-shrink flex-basis

CSS flex property values are

  • flex-grow : It must be a positive integer, which specifies how long the flex item can be increased relative to the rest of the flex item.
  • flex-shrink : It must be a positive integer, which specifies how long the flex item can be decreased relative to the rest of the flex item.

  • flex-basis : It is used to specify the size of the flex item.
