CSS @charset Rule

CSS @charset

CSS @charset is an at-rule statement.

It is used in style sheet to specify the character encoding.

@charset should be the first element in the style sheet and no other element should precede it.

It shouldn't be used in <style> element and in style attribute.

If several @charset statements are used, only the first statement will be used.

@charset 'iso-8859-15';

@charset "UTF-8";
