CSS column-count
CSS column-count property is used to split an elements content into specified number of columns.
By the number of columns given, the browser will evenly distribute the element into number of columns.
CSS column-count property values are
- auto : According to the column-width specified the contents will be splitted.
- integer : It is an positive integer, it specifies the number of columns in which the contents should be spitted.
To support column-count property on different browsers we need to add some prefixes, they are
- -webkit- : It supports chrome, safari and new version of opera
- -moz- : It support Firefox.
- -o- : Old versions of opera.
- -ms- : Internet explorer.
